City Delivery Supervisor

To manage and oversee all aspects of daily hub operations, including supervising city delivery dispatcher, hub delivery specialists and any other team members assigned to hub.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily hub operations and supervise city delivery dispatcher, hub delivery specialists, and other team members assigned to hub; Manage and maintain a high level for all city delivery service functions; Work with city delivery dispatcher to ensure all product is properly invoiced to spoke stores; Investigate all shipping and inventory discrepancies related to hub and ensure they are corrected in a timely manner; Manage and minimize shrink and payroll related to hub operation; Oversee all hub delivery routes, ensure routes are followed and efficiency is maximized while costs are minimized; Manage all expenses related to hub side of business to maximize profitability for hub and spoke stores; Maintain an organized, clean city delivery area divided into areas/bins for each spoke store; Maintain monthly work schedule for all team members under supervision; Ensure city delivery dispatcher is monitoring delivery specialist's route schedule and communicating delays to stores remaining on the route; Work with store manager to ensure route is covered in absence of regular city delivery supervisor and/or city delivery specialists; Work with store manager and hub delivery specialists to ensure vehicles are well maintained and quarterly inspections are completed thoroughly and accurately; Ensure daily mileage is logged into asset management for all vehicles; Provide input to store manager with regard to city delivery dispatcher and delivery specialists' performance in preparation for performance evaluations; Make sure all relevant company-training programs are being utilized for hub team member development

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Good interpersonal communication skills

Nice to have

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply; Familiar with automotive parts; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
