Class 1/3/5 Delivery Truck Driver

We are currently seeking a motivated Full-time Delivery Truck Driver who holds a valid Class 1, 3 or 5 licence to operate out of our Nanaimo, BC branch. If you are committed to exceptional customer service, thrive in a team environment, and enjoy working efficiently, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

Operating automatic trucks with power tailgate/railgate for direct store delivery; Loading trucks in the warehouse before departure; Conducting safe and efficient deliveries and pickups following designated routes; Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers on each route to understand and address their needs; Performing pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of company-owned vehicles; Assisting with product and warehouse security; Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)

Requirements

Valid Class 1, 3 or 5 License; Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience required; Recent and satisfactory driver abstract; Safety shoes (steel-toed boots); Ability to pass a criminal record check; Valid proof of SIN upon hire
