Clin Supt Technician 5

Oversees all aspect of staff training for assigned team(s). Provide technical expertise and enhance the growth of the laboratory through areas of staff development and training personnel in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

Oversees all aspect of staff training for assigned team(s); Provides technical expertise and enhances the growth of the laboratory through areas of staff development and training personnel in day-to-day operations; Ensures adequate staffing schedules for department specific assignments; Oversees department specific functions to ensure operations are running optimally; Performs troubleshooting as needed; Assesses work processes and makes suggestions for improved work methods; Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Associate's degree and 2 years of lab experience required; 3 years of Lab Science experience and technical training required; Or equivalent combination of education and experience; Demonstrates excellent communication (i.e. verbal, written) and organizational skills, and effective interpersonal skills required; Ability to prioritize and maintain focus while performing multiple tasks, as well as ability to function effectively in a rapidly changing environment and navigate frequent interruptions required; Participation in continuing education required; Ability to maintain professional discretion with confidential patient results required; Ability to identify and resolve problems required
