Clinical Pharmacist - FT - Evenings - $7,500 Sign on Bonus - MHM

Coordinates and provides clinical pharmacy services to patients and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. Provides leadership and oversight to pharmacy technicians and other support staff for the distribution, dispensing and compounding of sterile and non-sterile medications and related supplies in compliance with accreditation, legal, regulatory and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and provides clinical pharmacy services to patients and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team; Provides leadership and oversight to pharmacy technicians and other support staff for distribution, dispensing and compounding of sterile and non-sterile medications and related supplies; Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders, labs and other clinically relevant information; Provides clinical pharmacy services including renal/hepatic dosage adjustment, pharmacokinetic dosing, anticoagulation monitoring, total parenteral nutrition, antimicrobial stewardship; Supervises and delegates tasks to technicians and other support staff; Provides drug information to patients and healthcare providers; Manages and recommends drug therapy regimens as part of an interdisciplinary team

Requirements

Accredited Program: Pharmacy; Pharmacist License (PS LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL); Critical thinking skills; Effective verbal and written communication skills; Decisive judgment; Ability to work well with others in a team with minimal supervision; Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
