Position Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant is a member of the nursing team who contributes to the comfort and well-being of the patients by performing specifically assigned tasks and works under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

Contributes to the comfort and well-being of patients by performing specifically assigned tasks; Works as a member of the nursing team under the direction of the Registered Nurse; Participates in yearly threshold requirements, including Joint Commission mandatory education, in-service and health requirements, and TB/PPD Surveillance Program; Maintains required professional licensing and/or certification(s)

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent; Current Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state of Florida; American Heart Association BLS, for Health Care Provider; Successfully pass Certified Nursing Assistant test

Nice to have

2 years or more acute care experience preferred
