CNC Programmer

Responsibilities

Program, set and operate CNC milling machinery, ensuring components are manufactured accurately and efficiently.; Provide technical support to apprentices and less experienced engineers.; Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, quality and machine performance.; Collaborate with production and leadership teams to ensure delivery targets and operational objectives are achieved.

Requirements

Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines within a manufacturing environment.; Strong knowledge of Fanuc or Haas controls, G-code programming, tooling, feeds and speeds.; Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use a range of inspection and measurement equipment.; Previous experience coaching, mentoring or developing apprentices/junior engineers

Nice to have

Edgecam experience; Experience in a senior, lead or supervisory-level CNC position; 5+ years of CNC milling programming experience preferred
