Commercial Controller

As the Commercial Controller you will be tasked with managing & building their largest Business Unit. Working cross functionally both internally and externally you will drive a strong growth agenda within your business unit that will play a significant part in maximising EBIT performance of the UK business as a whole. This role will be your building block to a 1-2 step career development curve with the business, which will ultimately see you reaching a bigger Commercial/Board role.

Responsibilities

Manage and build their largest Business Unit; Drive a strong growth agenda within the business unit, maximising EBIT performance of the UK business; Take ownership of driving a change agenda both internally and externally; Work with the UK Commercial Director, Head of Category and SLT Cohort to form the Commercial & Category Compass; Develop and help lead the vision for the Total Private Label Business and secure key stakeholder buy-in; Lead and develop a Commercial Team to deliver first-class service within Major Retailer Channel; Provide a vision for key customers and suppliers, securing existing business and winning new; Refine and implement the business strategy to maximise sustainable category growth opportunities and deliver challenging sales, volume and profit objectives; Assist in the development of a Commercial Strategy that builds substantial equity as a modern and innovative Private Label Business; Define growth categories and consumer need states and energise the origination and delivery of innovation

Requirements

Strong Senior Commercial/Sales experience in a Private Label Food Business; Foodie perspective; Strong Relationship skills
