Commercial Lawyer

We are hiring a Commercial In-House Lawyer to our Legal team! This position can be based out of Madrid (Spain), Milan (Italy), or London (UK) in a hybrid model, or as a Remote – Spain, Italy, or UK position, meaning you can work from anywhere within these specified countries. In this role, you will be directly responsible for drafting and negotiating high-complexity commercial agreements, advising on indirect sales channels, and optimizing contract lifecycle processes across Europe—with a core focus on supporting our Italian and Spanish markets.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts, due diligences, and indirect channel partnerships across European jurisdictions, with dedicated focus on the Italian and Spanish markets; Serve as legal advisor for indirect sales channels, partner networks, and strategic commercial initiatives; Lead strategic process improvement initiatives across contract lifecycles; Act as senior point of contact for complex legal matters in Italy and Spain; Drive implementation, optimization, and daily usage of AI-powered contract review, CLM solutions, and automated legal tools; Develop SOPs and training materials that simplify complex legal terms; Live the mission by caring for your own wellbeing and colleagues

Requirements

Law Degree from a European country; minimum 8 years of experience handling commercial contract negotiations, indirect channels, and complex legal matters within an in-house legal department or multinational environment; advanced fluent proficiency in Italian, Spanish, and English; proven ability to identify bottlenecks in contract cycles and design streamlined legal processes; direct practical experience implementing, training, or heavily utilizing AI contract review, CLM systems, or legal workflow automation tools; solid background in European commercial contract law, regulatory frameworks, data protection regulations, and cross-border deal structuring; skilled at working alongside cross-functional commercial teams; exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and solid business acumen; mandatory at least 8 years of commercial contract experience and fluency in Italian, Spanish, and English
