Community Support Worker

You will be travelling around your local community and surrounding suburbs in a varied and rewarding role - no two days will be the same!!

Responsibilities

Travelling to visit clients within local community and surrounding suburbs; Supporting and connecting with clients assisting with day to day in home tasks - cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan; Transport to appointments and shopping; Meal preparation; Social Support or Respite for family/carers; Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

Requirements

A genuine passion for providing high quality care to older Australians in the community; Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people; Good communication skills; Reliable team player; Understanding of workplace health and safety; Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)

Nice to have

Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support
