Computer Field Technician

This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. To be successful in this position, you must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware.

Responsibilities

Perform hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units; Confirm service times with customers in the tech portal; Complete services at customer sites (residential and commercial); Pick up parts daily from the assigned FedEx or UPS store before going onsite; Drop off old parts using the pre-paid label provided; Log into the tech portal each morning to code calls and map out the route for the day; Complete Dell and Lenovo certifications as part of onboarding

Requirements

Prior hands-on experience with laptop and desktop hardware; Prior hands-on experience with replacing components on laptops and desktops; Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; Comfortable with daily local travel; Access to a computer and the Internet to log into the portal each day; Available to log into the tech portal by 9 am each morning worked; Regularly available a minimum of 3 weekdays
