Construction Project Manager / Estimator / Sales

Seeking a Project Manager experienced in pre engineered metal buildings to join our client's team in this great direct placement opportunity. Our client is a small contractor/subcontractor specializing in pre-engineered metal buildings. With extensive experience in hundreds of projects across Chicagoland and the surrounding areas, they focus on providing quality solutions in the metal building sector. We are seeking a dedicated candidate to join our client's team as a direct placement and contribute to their ongoing success.

Responsibilities

Prepare project proposals based on provided drawings and specifications; Manage project submittals, onsite project management, and coordination with other trades; Conduct site meetings and develop project schedules; Oversee procurement and delivery of materials to job sites as necessary; Ensure compliance with project specifications and attention to detail in all task execution

Requirements

5+ years of experience in pre-engineered metal buildings, either with a manufacturer or a contractor; Strong construction management knowledge and general construction knowledge; Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and One Drive; familiarity with Blue Beam, Microsoft Teams, and Sketch-Up is a plus; Excellent customer service skills with a strong problem-solving ability; Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs in a job site environment and manage short on-site responsibilities when needed
