Controller

Our client is a family office and investment firm allocating capital across a wide variety of public and private investment strategies and asset classes.

Responsibilities

Oversee end of day trade bookings and allocations, monitoring custodian recs, and resolve trade settlement issues;Oversee AP, cash management, liquidity/debt covenants, and the monthly general ledger close;Review and approve incentive fee calculations, fund expenses, and allocations;Prepare the profits interest and maintain the management company accounting;Procurement and maintenance of vendor contracts that support the firm’s investments platform and general ledger;Review regulatory filings and management company filings;Evaluate and implement a light trading system with various broker counterparties;Manage operational relationships with brokers

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance;5-10 years of general ledger, trade support, and portfolio reporting experience;Experience in equities, equity derivatives, fixed income, private equity investments;Familiarity with Bloomberg EMSX, Addepar, Affinity CRM, Quickbooks, and/or Arch
