Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team on a casual basis.

This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard, and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Shift Details (subject to change)

- Brekafast Shifts
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
- No split shifts required
- Immediate start available.

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)

Monday - Friday: $34.96 per hour

Saturday: $41.96 per hour

Sunday: $48.95 per hour

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist with the cooking and plating of meals.; Cook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations.; Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service.; Maintain proper food storage, safety, and hygiene standards.; Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.; Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.

Requirements

Minimum 12 months experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role.; Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.; Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.; Positive, proactive attitude and genuine passion for cooking.; Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
