Corrosion Engineer - KSA | OIL & GAS - L1

Job Summary
The Corrosion Engineer will be responsible for conducting corrosion risk assessments and recommending effective corrosion prevention solutions , including material selection, protective coatings, and cathodic protection systems to ensure the integrity and reliability of assets in the Oil & Gas / Refinery industry.
Job Responsibilities

- Conduct corrosion risk assessments for pipelines, equipment, and plant facilities.

- Evaluate corrosion issues and recommend appropriate materials, coatings, and cathodic protection systems .

- Develop and implement corrosion monitoring and prevention programs .

- Analyze inspection and monitoring data to identify corrosion threats and mitigation strategies .

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and corrosion management procedures .

- Prepare technical reports and recommendations related to corrosion control.

- Work closely with inspection, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure asset integrity.

Requirements

Requirements; Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.; Minimum 10 years of experience in corrosion engineering within Oil & Gas / Refinery industry .; Strong knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, coatings, and cathodic protection systems .; Experience in corrosion risk assessment and integrity management programs .; Good analytical, reporting, and technical communication skills.
