Responsibilities

It is responsibility of cost controller to audit the activities of the materials management department.; Prepare daily and monthly reports relating to cost of sales.; Prepare figures on General Stores issues such as Guest Supplies usage against budget.; Checking data entry of material management employees and correcting when necessary.; Auditing inventory transactions make the commissary (pasty and butchery) and outlet kitchens for the purposes of inventory control and potential costing.; Maintaining records of inventory transactions, ensuring their accuracy and authorization.; Perform inventory stock count by the end of month, reconcile and investigate any differences arising from the result.; Performs balance sheet reconciliation for Inventory (food, beverage, general, engineering)

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred; Two years accounting experience, preferable in a hospitality environment; Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Experience with accounting software; Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
