About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Department, you'll play a key role in coordinating the Bachelor of Community Services program, supporting academic staff and ensuring high-quality learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Coordinating course delivery and supporting academic staff.; Driving curriculum quality, teaching excellence and student outcomes.; Monitoring course performance and identifying improvements.; Supporting academic governance, quality assurance and accreditation requirements, including TEQSA and Community Work Australia standards.; Building strong relationships with students, academics and industry stakeholders.

Requirements

AQF Level 9 (Master's degree) or higher in Community Work, Social Welfare, Human Services, Social Work or a closely related discipline.; Minimum three years' relevant full-time industry experience in Community Services or an associated sector.; Demonstrated higher education experience in course coordination, academic leadership or program management.; Strong knowledge of higher education teaching, assessment, curriculum development and quality assurance.; Understanding of TEQSA, the Higher Education Standards Framework and the National Code 2018.; Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.; A current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain the relevant state-based clearance.
