Cover Supervisor

Do you enjoy working with young people aged 11 – 18? Have you considered working in Secondary Schools as a Cover Supervisor? We are working with a range of Secondary Schools across London who are looking for confident, professional and dedicated people to work as Cover Supervisors in their schools to provide short-term and daily cover for teachers. As a Cover Supervisor you will work in secondary schools covering classes and ensuring students are working on tasks whilst teachers are absent or engaged in other activities and meetings. This is a key role within secondary schools and almost every secondary school will engage cover supervisors to allow teachers. This is great opportunity to work on flexible basis and gain experience within secondary schools. Cover Supervisors are required for the full school day – 8.30am to 3.45pm (approx.).

Responsibilities

Covering classes in secondary schools; Ensuring students are working on tasks whilst teachers are absent or engaged in other activities and meetings; Providing short-term and daily cover for teachers; Working the full school day 8.30am to 3.45pm (approx.)

Requirements

Experience working with 11-18-year-olds; Enhanced DBS certificate to work with children; 2 references covering the past two years; Confident, positive and professional approach to working with young people; Availability for the full school day 8.30am to 3.45pm (approx.)
