Cover Supervisors

Cover Supervisor – Day-to-Day Supply, Starting Immediately. These flexible roles are ideal for people who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school environments. You’ll work across multiple schools in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding areas of Acle and Lowestoft, providing day-to-day classroom supervision and support, with the possibility of longer-term or permanent placements. Access to your own car is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task; Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment; Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies; Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and any issues; Support the wider school community as needed

Requirements

Strong classroom management and communication skills; Ability to adapt to different subjects and school environments; Reliable, punctual, and committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare; Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or have one registered on the Update Service

Nice to have

Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable; Access to your own car is helpful but not essential
