Responsibilities

Operating crane under complete control; Operating crane under supervision; Inspecting the crane and all of its components and below the hook lifting devices routinely and periodically to ensure its safety and the safety of all involved; Performing routine maintenance; Carrying tools for performing repairs as needed; Understanding and executing the job billing process; Wearing required personal protective equipment while performing work; Cleaning and maintaining the crane and all components; Utilizing manufacturer's recommendations during assembly/disassembly while erecting crane, and while operating the crane in all configurations; Directing truck drivers and crane helpers during the process of assembly/disassembly, crane set up, and scope of work; Mentor other crane operators, crane helpers, etc.

Requirements

Must possess a N.C.C.C.O. crane operator certification card for size and type of crane operating; Must possess crane operator qualification evaluations on all types of size and type of cranes operating; Must have necessary knowledge of OSHA regulations, and ANSI standards associated with crane and rigging services; Must be proficient in oral and written communication skills; Must be able to take direction(s) from supervision; Must perform daily and monthly equipment inspections; Must follow all safety and company policies and procedures as well as that of customers.
