Crane Operator - Taxi (Prince George, BC)

Sterling Crane has an exciting opportunity for a Crane Operator (Journeyperson/Red Seal or 3rd Year Apprentice) based in our Prince George, BC branch.

Responsibilities

Assisting crane operators in assembly, disassembly and transport of cranes; Rigging of equipment; Assist mechanic with the maintenance of cranes and general duties in the shop and yard; Delivery of equipment and rigging as needed

Requirements

3rd year apprentice or Journeyperson certificate; Class 1A driver's license; Must demonstrate safe work practices, follow company policies and be able to work well independently and as part of a team; Must be in good standing with IUOE 115 or become a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 115; Must successfully pass pre-employment testing including drug and alcohol screening
