Responsibilities

Managing a caseload of criminal defence matters from instruction to conclusion; Advising and representing clients at the police station and court; Preparing cases for Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court proceedings; Liaising with counsel, experts, courts and external agencies; Building and maintaining strong client relationships; Supporting junior members of the team where required

Requirements

Experience in criminal defence work; Strong client care and case management skills; Confidence handling matters independently; Excellent communication, drafting and advocacy skills
