CT Technologist - Overnights

CT Technologist - Overnights at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Full time, 40 hours per week, overnight shifts Monday through Friday and every other weekend. Pay range $35.50 - $53.25 with $10,000 sign-on bonus. Responsible for producing quality CT scans, patient education, and safety.

Responsibilities

Serves as a patient advocate; Ensures timely scheduling of inpatients and outpatients; Provides education to patients before, during and after exams; Maintains positive relationships with customers; Reviews patient satisfaction data; Accountable for production of quality CT scans; Demonstrates appropriate operation of CT equipment; Demonstrates safety in all areas; Ensures all appropriate information is present before CT exams; Completes data entries in HIS and RIS; Participates in CQI monitoring and improvement; Sets learning goals and completes required training; Participates in hospital-wide and departmental activities; Attends departmental staff meetings; Participates in productivity improvement; Ensures supplies and participates in cost/revenue efforts

Requirements

ARRT eligible; Some scanning experience; Able to complete most CT procedures; ARRT Registered; May be exposed to life threatening diseases; Ability to adjust hours with minimal notice; Ability to stand for long periods of time; Ability to view small CRT screens; Ability to work odd hours; Ability to respond to emergency call; Ability to lift and/or move patients; Ability to work under stressful conditions; Ability to work rotating shifts any day of the week; Ability to stand, bend and/or stoop for extended periods of time; Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance
