Custody Nurse or Paramedic

Responsibilities

Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites in collaboration with the Police; Ensure the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in custody suites in line with a schedule agreed with the client; Work flexibly not only in base custody suite but across an assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area

Requirements

Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant clinical setting (e.g. Accident & Emergency, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service); Driving license; RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration - 2 years post qualification, Band 5 minimum; Paramedic - 2 years post qualification; Must have right to work, lived in UK with British passport or ILR for 3+ years with no gaps out of country more than 3 months; All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
