Custody Nurse or Paramedic

As a certified nurse or paramedic, you can pursue a career within the criminal justice system, aiding some of society's most vulnerable individuals. In collaboration with the Police, you'll serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in the custody suites, in line with a schedule agreed upon with our client.

Responsibilities

Delivering healthcare to detainees in custody suites in collaboration with the Police; Ensuring safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in custody suites; Working flexibly across base Custody suite and assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area; Aiding vulnerable individuals within the criminal justice system

Requirements

Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant clinical setting (A&E, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service); Driving license; RN, RGN or (RMN with dual registration) with 2 years post qualification - Band 5 minimum; Paramedic with 2 years post qualification; Must have RTW, lived in UK British Passport or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months; All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting; Flexibility to work not only in base Custody suite but across assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area
