Custody Nurse or Paramedic

In collaboration with the Police, you'll serve in custody suites, delivering healthcare to detainees. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in the custody suites, in line with a schedule agreed upon with our client. The role requires the flexibility to work not only in your base Custody suite but across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area. Part time - this entails fixed shift working: 06:45 to 19:00 for day shifts and night shifts of 18:45 to 07:00, working in a team rota pattern of 2-day shifts on, 8 days off, 2 nights, 4 days off.

Responsibilities

Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites in collaboration with the Police; Ensure the safety of detainees with round-the-clock coverage in custody suites in line with a schedule agreed with the client; Work not only in base custody suite but across an assigned region in Police Custody Suites and Force area; Work fixed shifts in a team rota pattern including days and nights

Requirements

RN, RGN or RMN with dual registration: 2 years post qualification - Band 5 minimum; Paramedic 2 years post qualification; Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant clinical setting (A&E, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service); Driving license; Right to work in UK; Lived in UK with British Passport or ILR for 3 years+ and no gaps out of country more than 3 months; Subject to Police Vetting
