Customer Operations Representative (Full-Time, Fixed-Term)

Full-time, fixed-term position based at the Apex Car Rental Auckland Airport Branch, available until the end of March 2026 for peak season. Working 40 hours per week on 10:30 to 19:00 shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required. The role covers both front and back of house operations, including customer counter duties and vehicle inspection, driving, parking and cleaning. Entry level with training provided.

Responsibilities

Interacting with customers at the counter; Marketing products and services; Completing rental transactions, contracts, and bookings; Inspecting vehicles for damages and maintenance issues; Driving and parking cars; Cleaning vehicles (interior and exterior) in the wash bay

Requirements

Full, clean, valid class 1 driver's licence; Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service; Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information; Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards
