Data & AI Project Lead - Banking

We are currently looking Data & AI Project Lead for our Qatar operations

Key Responsibilities

Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month)

Responsibilities

End-to-end ownership of project delivery, including planning, execution, governance, and closure.; Manage and engage multiple stakeholders across business units, IT teams, and external partners.; Drive project governance using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and progress tracking through JIRA.; Facilitate Project Review Working Groups, ensuring timely updates, risk mitigation, and effective decision-making.; Oversee vendor coordination and ensure adherence to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.; Monitor project dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations across multiple workstreams.; Ensure successful delivery of Data, Analytics, Governance, and AI-related initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

Minimum 12+ years of experience managing large-scale Data and AI projects, preferably within banking or financial services.; Strong technical understanding of data platforms, analytics ecosystems, and AI-driven solutions.; Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and deliver programs under tight timelines.; Hands-on expertise in Agile project management, JIRA, and collaboration tools.; Strong communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.; GCC and/or Qatar banking experience is highly desirable.
