Data Engineer (with Dataiku)

Requirements

3-4 years of experience in Data Engineering or related role; Hands-on experience with DBT Core, including CLI-based development and version control; Experience building and maintaining data pipelines; Strong SQL skills and experience working with analytics databases or data warehouses; Intermediate knowledge of data modeling concepts (e.g. star schema, medallion architecture); Familiarity with Git-based workflows; Understanding of CI/CD concepts applied to data pipelines; Experience with Python for data processing and/or orchestration tasks; Fluency in English (B2 Level or above) is required; Availability for a hybrid regime, 2x/week, in Lisbon (candidates must be based in Portugal and Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit is required).

Nice to have

Exposure to cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, GCP; Hands-on experience with Dataiku for data preparation and analytics workflows; Hands-on experience with PowerBI (data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices); Experience building or supporting machine learning models in Dataiku; Exposure to Generative AI or LLM-based use cases (e.g., embeddings, prompt engineering)
