Data Science Co-op

Later is looking for a full-time co-op starting January 2027 to help support the product team; you will be working on new product features and having a meaningful impact on the company. This will be a 4-month term with a potential of extension.

Support the product team; Work on new product features; Have a meaningful impact on the company; Learn about new technologies, think of creative solutions, and sometimes blaze a new trail

Requirements

In the 3rd year of a statistics, computer science, math, physics, economics, or other technical undergraduate program (graduate students may also be considered); Creative thinker; Fast learner; Good grades; Strong coding ability in R and/or Python; Passion for data science and the technology industry; Experience with and technical understanding of statistical modeling & machine learning techniques; A passion for data science, with a commitment to unbiased and rigorous analysis; Excellent problem-solving skills; Strong customer service orientation; Business acumen; Strong communication skills; Ability to excel in a fast-paced, agile environment

Nice to have

Some experience with SQL; Experience with big data or deploying models into production (Spark, AWS, Docker, Flask, plumber); A passion for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
