Data Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Responsibilities

Build and manage scalable data infrastructure on GCP; Develop Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform; Create and support data pipelines using Python and SQL; Design monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning; Ensure systems meet SLAs for availability and reliability; Collaborate on AI/ML model deployment; Respond to incidents and drive improvements; Enforce security and compliance best practices

Requirements

3+ years as an SRE, DevOps, or Data Engineer; Strong Python skills; advanced SQL knowledge; Experience with GCP services (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer, Vertex AI); Proficiency with Terraform; Familiarity with CI/CD tools and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana); Understanding of distributed systems and reliability patterns; Bachelor’s in CS, Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

Experience in B2B tech environments; Knowledge of data mesh or data fabric architectures; Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Datadog
