DC Forklift Operator - Inbound

Operate fork trucks in a safe, efficient, and effective manner while unloading trucks and moving freight within the DC.

Responsibilities

Moving incoming merchandise from truck to dock, and dock to correct stocking areas; Stocking all rack merchandise and arranging rack surplus from zones in the appropriate manner; Setting down rack surplus for zones so orders can be filled and replenishments can be made to stocking locations; Performing any miscellaneous tasks that require a fork truck; Replenishing outbound totes as needed, where applicable; Assisting with maintaining mezzanine zones; Maintaining safety standards while operating and identifying unsafe practices and situations; If designated as a trainer, taking ownership of the DC target training program ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule and documentation is complete; Explaining specific job duties and functions to help ensure success of new team members and conveying departmental or procedural changes to existing team members; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must work well in a team environment; Operating knowledge of fork trucks and power equipment

Nice to have

High school diploma or equivalent (GED); Experience operating various types of power equipment; Advanced knowledge of parts lines in warehouse and surplus merchandise locations; Advanced computer skills; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
