We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team at our East Alton location (341 W St Louis Ave). As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. Responsibilities

Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes within East Alton and surrounding areas; Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and mapping tools to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption; Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions; Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery stop, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with empathy; Inspect vehicle daily for mechanical issues and report maintenance needs promptly to ensure safe operations; Handle products with care, ensuring items arrive in excellent condition and are delivered to the correct locations; Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or customer issues; Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior; Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and compliant deliveries; Build positive relationships with customers, contributing to customer satisfaction and loyalty

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license; Minimum 2 years of driving history with a clean Motor Vehicle Record meeting company standards; Access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes; Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check and criminal background check; Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset; Physical capability to safely load, unload, and handle delivery items; Demonstrated reliability and punctuality with a professional attitude; Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed; Familiarity with local East Alton area roads and neighborhoods (preferred); Experience in delivery, logistics, or customer service roles (preferred); Proficiency with mobile devices and GPS navigation systems (preferred)
