Responsibilities

Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers throughout assigned routes in a timely and professional manner; Navigate routes efficiently using GPS technology and local knowledge to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption; Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues promptly; Handle packages with care, ensuring products arrive in excellent condition and are delivered to the correct addresses; Provide friendly, courteous customer service at each delivery point, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with empathy; Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, timestamps, and any special delivery instructions; Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices; Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route updates, delays, or customer feedback; Organize and load vehicles efficiently to maximize delivery capacity and minimize handling time; Represent the organization professionally at all times, building positive relationships with customers and the community

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license; Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving history; Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company standards for delivery operations; Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards; Excellent time management and organizational skills; Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; Physical capability to safely lift, carry, and handle packages of varying sizes; Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professional work ethic; Knowledge of local traffic laws, road safety regulations, and defensive driving practices; Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed; Positive attitude, customer-focused mindset, and willingness to go the extra mile; Ability to work independently while remaining responsive to team communication; Valid proof of insurance for personal vehicle used for delivery purposes
