- Previous Periodontal (Perio) experience
- Experience working within a specialist dental practice
- Knowledge of dental practice management software

Responsibilities

Chairside assisting during specialist dental procedures; Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical set-up standards; Instrument sterilisation and infection control procedures; Managing patient appointments and treatment schedules; Answering phone and email enquiries; Welcoming patients and creating a positive first impression; Processing payments and managing administrative tasks; Supporting clinicians to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant and/or Dental Receptionist in Australia — Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded; Proactive, punctual, and reliable; Understanding of infection control protocols; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; High attention to detail and strong organisational ability; Professional presentation and a patient-focused approach
