We're looking for a Deputy General Manager who can support the General Manager in driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams and delivering outstanding hospitality across Aberdeen Football Club.

As a leader within the business, you will be responsible for motivating and inspiring teams, maintaining exceptional standards, building strong client relationships and ensuring every matchday and event exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in leading all hospitality, retail and catering operations across Aberdeen Football Club; Lead, inspire and develop managers and teams to consistently deliver exceptional service standards; Drive operational excellence across matchdays, conferences, events and non-matchday business; Build positive and collaborative relationships with the client and key stakeholders; Support financial performance through effective cost control, labour management and revenue generation; Ensure all Health & Safety, Food Safety and company compliance standards are achieved and maintained; Continuously identify opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency and guest satisfaction; Develop and mentor future leaders through coaching, training and succession planning; Support recruitment, onboarding and retention of talented team members; Lead by example and create a positive culture aligned with BaxterStorey values; Assist in the delivery of business-critical KPIs including Health & Safety, Sustainability, Financial Performance and Governance

Requirements

Previous experience in a senior hospitality management role; Experience within stadia, events, conference, catering or hospitality operations preferred; A genuine passion for food, hospitality and customer service; Strong people management and leadership skills; Excellent organisational and planning abilities; Financially aware with experience managing budgets and controlling costs; Strong communication and relationship-building skills; Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities; A proactive and solution-focused approach; Ability to motivate and engage teams to consistently perform at a high level; Strong understanding of compliance, health and safety and operational standards; Works in line with the BaxterStorey core values
