Position Summary

Our Design Consultants work directly with clients in their homes or in showrooms through pre-scheduled appointments. This is a consultative sales + interior design role where you will create custom storage solutions and deliver a premium customer experience from concept to installation.

Compensation

- Paid training
- Uncapped commission structure
- On-target earnings: $85,000–$120,000+
- Pre-set, qualified appointments provided

Work Environment

- Field-based, in-home sales role
- Combination of client visits, remote design work, and showroom collaboration

Responsibilities

Offer a luxury experience through product expertise and elevated service; Provide in-home design consultations and space planning; Design custom solutions using proprietary CAD software; Work with interior designers, decorators, and builders; Manage multiple client projects with strong attention to detail; Travel daily to appointments in Washtenaw, Livingston, Oakland, and Wayne Counties

Requirements

Strong communication and presentation skills; Tech savvy – ability to learn proprietary CAD design software; Laptop required; Must be able to travel frequently to Washtenaw, Livingston, Oakland, and Wayne Counties; Valid driver’s license; Full-time availability, includes some evenings and weekends

Nice to have

Experience in sales, interior design, home improvement, home organization professional, or related field; Strong consultative sales and closing skills; Ability to build rapport and develop relationships quickly; Highly organized with excellent time management; Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
