Despatch Operative

Kepak is a global food company serving international retailers and food service household names with prime cuts of meat, on-trend food concepts and ready-for-market convenience foods. Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil has combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We are currently recruiting for a Despatch Operative to work in our busy Merthyr Tydfil site. This is a full time, permanent position working 3 on / 3 off days, 6am - 6pm.

Responsibilities

Ensuring stock is rotated within department; Booking in stock and unloading/loading wagons; Picking and scanning to orders; Primary purpose is to ensure correct products are picked and quantities despatched; Being accountable for ensuring all documentation is accurately completed

Requirements

Standard level of education required; Numeracy is essential; Previous warehouse experience; Strong work ethic; Reliable and consistent in approach; Methodical and pro-active in required activities; Always have a “can do” attitude and be a team player to support the whole department; Clear understanding of (English written and spoken); Adhere to business core values
