Digital Print Operative

The post holder will be responsible for accurately producing print work in line with job specifications.

Responsibilities

Accurately producing print work in line with job specifications; Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department; Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied; QC to job requirements; Maintain and process work according to the production schedule; Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered; Problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department; Maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations; Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy; Select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed

Requirements

Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes; Understanding Windows Operating systems; Operational experience with print; Demonstrable attention to detail; Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious; Flexible and effective team member

Nice to have

Experience with HP Flatbeds, Agfa, efi Vutek
