Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Responsibilities

Planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment; Servicing, fault finding and repair of motors, control panels, starters and associated electrical systems; Using CMMS systems to record maintenance activities and support asset reliability programmes; Inspection, maintenance and replacement of ATEX-rated equipment in hazardous environments; Supporting plant upgrades, equipment installations and commissioning projects across site operations

Requirements

4+ years of electrical and instrumentation maintenance experience; Instrumentation apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 qualification; Strong working knowledge of electrical maintenance and fault finding; Able to work independently and manage maintenance activities with minimal supervision; Understanding of maintenance operations within the oil & gas or process industry sector
