Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer

A well-established UK manufacturer is looking for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team. You'll be supporting both proactive and reactive maintenance across high-volume processing equipment, driving uptime, improving reliability, and ensuring safe, efficient operation on a busy, well-invested site. Responsibilities

Electrical & mechanical PPM, reactive and breakdown maintenance; Working as part of a skilled, friendly engineering team; Reporting into an experienced Maintenance Manager; Maintaining fast-moving, high-volume industrial production equipment; Involvement in CI/Kaizen projects and cross-functional improvements; Supporting machinery upgrades, installations, and site improvements; Ensuring safe working practices at all times

Requirements

Time-served apprenticeship (electrical); Strong background in Packaging, FMCG, or similar environments; Confident fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems; Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and CI tools (Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S); Comfortable working in a hands-on, sometimes messy, fast-paced environment; Motivated team player with a proactive approach to engineering challenges
