Electrical Technician(6 Months Shutdown) | Oil and Gas | Yanbu, KSA

• Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and installation work on LV and MV systems including motors, switchgear, panels, transformers, MCCs, and distribution boards.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults using test instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
• Support the disconnection, removal, and reconnection of electrical systems during shutdowns.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical components and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and job packages.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), permit to work (PTW), and confined space entry (if applicable).
• Coordinate with mechanical and instrumentation teams during integrated maintenance tasks.
• Document work performed and report any anomalies or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Adhere to shutdown timelines and quality standards under high pressure environments.

Requirements

Education: Technical Diploma or Industrial Training Certificate in Electrical Technology or related field.; Experience:; o Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical shutdown within petrochemical, refinery, or industrial plant environments.; o Proven experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, or major maintenance events.; Certifications (Preferred):; o Aramco / SABIC Permit Holder certification; o OSHA / NFPA 70E or equivalent electrical safety training; o LOTO awareness training o Cable jointing and termination certification (if applicable); 12 Hours duty/7 days a week; Overtime not applicable.
