Electrician / Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician | FIFO | 8:6 | Western Australia

Sodexo Australia is seeking a skilled and motivated Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to join our team on an 8:6 roster. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment across a range of client sites, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and minimal operational downtime

About the Role

As a Kitchen Equipment Service Technician, you will provide technical support and maintenance services for commercial kitchen appliances and systems. You will work independently and as part of a broader maintenance team to deliver high-quality service outcomes in line with Sodexo’s safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, fryers, dishwashers, and associated appliances; Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and gas-related faults efficiently and safely; Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance programs; Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant safety regulations and company procedures; Deliver high levels of customer service while maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements

A current WA Electrical Licence; Gas servicing ticket; Full WA Driver's Licence; Australian Citizenship or unrestricted Australian working rights; Experience servicing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment (preferred); Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities; The ability to work autonomously and manage service priorities effectively; A commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards; The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening; A current National Police Clearance within 6 months.
