Electrician

Are you an experienced Electrician with strong testing, inspection and fault-finding skills and a background in property maintenance? A well-established property maintenance organisation is looking for a reliable and motivated Electrician to join its team in Woking. You will carry out a varied mix of domestic and commercial electrical repairs, testing, installations and maintenance work across the local area. This Electrician role would suit someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, works well independently and provides a professional service when dealing with residents and customers.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical testing, inspections and certification; Diagnose faults and complete reactive electrical repairs; Undertake domestic rewires and general electrical installations; Complete electrical works associated with kitchens and bathrooms; Install and maintain domestic electrical heating systems; Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and make situations safe; Maintain accurate job records, including photographic evidence where required; Follow Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and method statements

Requirements

Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation; Hold City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent; Hold current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification; Have completed AM2; 2-5 years' experience in social housing, property or building maintenance; strong testing, inspection and fault-finding skills; strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills; full UK driving licence; live within approximately 20 miles of Woking; willing to complete a DBS check before employment
