Email & SMS Marketing Specialist

The Email & SMS Marketing Specialist will support the day-to-day execution of Email and SMS marketing across the customer lifecycle. This includes building campaigns, supporting segmentation, implementing testing, managing QA processes, launching communications, and maintaining accurate performance reporting. The ideal candidate combines strong attention to detail with hands-on lifecycle marketing experience and understands how Email and SMS contribute to customer engagement, retention, and repeat purchases within a B2C environment. This is an execution-focused role for someone comfortable working directly inside lifecycle marketing platforms while collaborating with marketing leadership and Creative teams to bring campaigns from brief through launch and reporting.

Responsibilities

Build and execute Email campaigns using drag-and-drop email builders, with ability to support HTML-based builds when applicable; Build and execute SMS campaigns within Postscript; Implement A/B testing across Email and SMS campaigns; Support creation and maintenance of customer segments; Ensure campaigns are configured, scheduled, and launched; Own pre-launch QA and conduct post-launch QA; Review campaign copy, creative, links, segmentation, personalization, testing configurations, and scheduling; Support list health, deliverability, consent, and data privacy standards; Own recurring Email and SMS reporting; Maintain monthly lifecycle metrics; Organize campaign data using Google Sheets; Develop Google Slides reporting materials; Monitor key lifecycle metrics; Support testing analysis; Partner with Associate Director of Lifecycle Marketing; Support campaign briefs, segmentation, testing plans, QA, launches, and reporting; Collaborate with Creative teams; Support lifecycle initiatives; Provide operational support across lifecycle platforms; Work directly within Klaviyo; Support SMS execution in Postscript; Assist with Recharge and Rivo; Troubleshoot platform issues; Maintain organized campaign processes; Use AI tools to improve workflows; Identify process improvements; Maintain quality control

Requirements

2–3 years of hands-on Email and SMS marketing experience; Experience supporting or owning Email and SMS campaigns from build through QA, launch, and reporting; Hands-on drag-and-drop Email building experience; Experience working with U.S.-based B2C consumer brands or consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies; Strong understanding of Email and SMS lifecycle marketing fundamentals; Experience creating and managing customer segmentation; Familiarity with A/B testing and campaign testing methodologies; Strong campaign QA skills and exceptional attention to detail; Understanding of Email/SMS reporting and key lifecycle marketing performance metrics; Proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Slides; Working knowledge of Email deliverability, list health, consent, and data privacy best practices; Strong written and verbal English communication skills; Ability to collaborate effectively with Creative, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders; Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously; Comfortable using AI tools to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and support process development; Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability; Available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with client’s time zone

Experience with DTC e-commerce, wellness, supplements, beauty, personal care, food and beverage, or similar consumer categories; Experience with Klaviyo and Postscript; Experience with subscription and loyalty platforms such as Recharge and Rivo; HTML or dynamic Email coding capabilities
