Emergency Veterinarian

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Emergency Veterinarian to join our dynamic team. This role is available for Full-Time, Part-Time, and Relief positions. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality emergency care and will have a strong desire to add value to our hospital and its mission.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional emergency veterinary care to a diverse range of cases; Perform thorough examinations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans; Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to enhance patient outcomes; Collaborate with a supportive team of veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure comprehensive care; Engage in continuous learning and professional development through mentoring and training opportunities; Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognoses; Participate in hospital meetings and contribute to the development of protocols and best practices; Always uphold the hospital's standards of care and client satisfaction

Requirements

DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school; Active veterinary license in LA; Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with a commitment to continuous learning; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment; A passion for providing exceptional care and improving patient outcomes
