Enterprise Information Architect (f/m/d)

Help shape how master data enables a global business. As an Enterprise Data Architect within Data Management Solutions, you will help shape and continuously improve Essity's approach to Master Data Governance (MDG), supporting master data domains across our global sites. This is an architecture-focused role where your SAP MDG expertise will make an impact beyond hands-on development. You will translate business needs into scalable solutions, create functional specifications, guide implementation, and act as a trusted expert for colleagues and stakeholders. You will also contribute to data migration, data quality and the MDG roadmap while helping less-experienced colleagues grow through coaching and knowledge sharing. This is a multi-location role with flexibility to be based in Lisbon (primary location), Gothenburg, Hamburg, Munich, collaborating with international teams across all regions.

Responsibilities

Design and continuously improve SAP Master Data Governance solutions across domains including Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Material and Finance data; Design replication workflows and integrations to receiving systems and their monitoring; Translate business requirements into functional specifications, scalable master data models, governance processes, workflows, and validation rules; Participate in project discussions to determine MDG requirements and provide expert guidance to project teams and business stakeholders; Support master data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA deployments and business transformation programs, including mapping, validation, and cutover readiness; Contribute to data profiling, cleansing, deduplication, monitoring, and root-cause analysis to improve master data quality; Coach and mentor colleagues, sharing SAP MDG expertise and guiding others in the delivery of solutions; Help shape the SAP MDG roadmap and collaborate with business data teams on emerging requirements and issues

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field; Substantial experience in SAP Master Data Management, SAP MDG, Data Governance, Information Management or SAP Enterprise Architecture; Proven exposure to MDG implementations, rollouts, or support; Strong SAP MDG expertise and understanding of its data models; Good English communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders and turn technical complexity into clear guidance; Ability to coach and mentor in an international environment; CV must be delivered in English

Nice to have

Relevant SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA or Data Governance certifications; Experience with complex master data domains such as Business Partner or Material; Experience with data replication, migration, cleansing, and deduplication
