Entry-Level Labor

Currently, we have multiple day shift or swing shift entry-level labor positions with great opportunities for advancement at our Western Veneer division based in White City, Oregon. Find yourself in a new career path in wood veneer manufacturing in an entry-level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision. Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our innovative wood veneer manufacturing facility. General production labor duties: shovel and sweep wood byproducts, stack and pile lumber and veneer. The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding. Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments. Work may consist of some overtime during busy production times. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

Learn to fill in on various machine stations within the innovative wood veneer manufacturing facility; Shovel and sweep wood byproducts, stack and pile lumber and veneer; Work in a fast-paced and demanding environment; Perform repetitive lifting and work in both hot and cold work environments; Work overtime during busy production times

Requirements

Recent, related work history and verifiable references; At least age 18; Offer of employment is subject to a negative drug screen result
