Enviromental Services Tech - Advocate/Atrium Health Cleveland - 2nd Shift Full-Time

Full-time Environmental Services Tech at Atrium Health Cleveland, 3rd shift (11:00pm to 7:30pm, every other weekend). Responsible for complete cleaning of assigned areas, waste removal, equipment maintenance, and maintaining a safe working environment in accordance with departmental quality standards.

Responsibilities

Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting and sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors and fixtures; washing windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures; sweeping, scrubbing and refinishing floors; vacuuming and shampooing carpet; restocking restrooms; replacing light bulbs; reporting repairs; handles heavy contact with cleaning chemicals, disinfecting agents, floor strippers and finishes; removes waste by collecting and transporting soiled linen, emptying trash containers, changing sharps containers, transporting solid and hazardous waste to compactors, recycling material, and emptying cigarette receptacles; keeps equipment clean and orderly and reports equipment failures or mechanical issues; maintains safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, regulations, infection control guidelines, and departmental quality standards; attends required in-service education and training including safety update programs; demonstrates ability to meet time schedules and deadlines

Requirements

Availability for 3rd shift (11:00pm to 7:30pm, every other weekend); Ability to prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner; Ability to operate equipment; Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers

Nice to have

High School diploma or GED equivalent (preferred); One year experience (preferred)
