Event Driver Part-Time | Legends Global Merchandise

Location: On Site 7900 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46214. The Events Truck Driver is a part-time employee supporting the Events Team in transporting merchandise to and from client events throughout the United States on a part-time "as needed" basis. The Events Driver is a Class A CDL license holder with experience operating diesel-powered tractor-trailers combination/pick-up trucks, gooseneck trailers combination/pick-up trucks, tag trailer combination and others. The Events Truck Driver will have a tremendous amount of interaction and personal involvement with leadership and staff and must always represent Legends Global Merchandise in a professional, gracious, and knowledgeable manner.

Responsibilities

Drives and parks semi-tractor/trailer, equipment and other designated vehicle to events as scheduled; Maintains driver log according to DOT regulations; Inspects vehicles for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating their condition; Ensures proper care, use, and organization of all equipment prior to, during, and after the event; Maintenance, cleaning, and detailing of company vehicles; Skilled to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Able to write routine reports and correspondence; Assists with loading and unloading; Adheres to Legends’ policies and procedures associated with the event personnel; Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License, required; Experience operating diesel-powered tractor-trailers combination/pick-up trucks, gooseneck trailers combination/pick-up trucks, tag trailer combination and others; Ability to drive out of state on an as-needed part-time basis throughout the year; Organized, self-motivated, team player who can work independently as well as within a group; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
