As a Barista at Hawar Resort by Mantis, you will craft high-quality beverages while delivering exceptional guest service. You will have a passion for beverages, strong technical skills, and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for guests.

Responsibilities

Customer Service: Greet customers promptly and courteously, ensuring a welcoming and friendly environment.; Order Taking & Recommendations: Take beverage orders from customers and waitstaff, provide recommendations, and upsell beverages when appropriate.; Beverages Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, according to standard recipes.; Innovation & Menu Development: Create new and innovative beverages to enhance the beverages menu.; Presentation & Quality Control: Ensure the correct glassware, garnishes, and presentation for each beverage, maintaining high-quality standards.; Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including countertops, sinks, and storage areas.; Inventory Management: Restock and replenish bar supplies, perform regular inventory checks, and notify management of any shortages.; Compliance & Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients.; Payment Processing: Process customer payments accurately, including cash, credit, and debit transactions, and balance the cash register at the end of each shift.; Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth service and participate in team meetings to contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

Educational Background: Certification in Barista Training, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.; Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Barista, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or specialty coffee shop.; Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, latte art, and specialty coffee preparation.; Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-centric approach.; Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high-quality beverage standards and presentation.; Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.; Regional Experience: Previous experience in Bahrain or the Middle East is preferred.
